DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Team Leadership:
Supervise, coach, and support warehouse administration staff
Allocate daily workloads and monitor team performance
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Warehouse Administration:
Manage all inbound and outbound warehouse documentation
Ensure accurate processing of goods received notes (GRNs), delivery notes, invoices, and dispatch documentation
Maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and related databases
Ensure timely and accurate data capturing
Inventory Control:
Monitor inventory records and stock movements
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Coordinate cycle counts and stock takes
Generate inventory reports for management
Operational Support:
Liaise with warehouse supervisors, transport teams, suppliers, and customers
Coordinate receiving, storage, and dispatch administration activities
Support operational planning and scheduling
Ensure deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met
Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
Maintain accurate filing systems and document control
Assist with internal and external audits
Customer Service:
Respond to customer queries regarding stock, deliveries, and documentation
Resolve administration-related issues promptly and professionally
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
We invite applications from candidates who meet the following minimum criteria:
Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous)
Experience:
3-5 years' warehouse administration experience
1-2 years' supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Inventory control and stock management knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong customer service orientation
