DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Ensuring that all estimates are submitted daily to Administration for capturing
Ensuring that all container damages are supported by photos taken live and uploaded to the EEIR App
Ensuring that all containers placed in the workshop areas are inspected and that estimates are raised according to client criteria
Ensuring that all major units have blue stickers placed on the side panels and doors for proper movement to the Under Review stack
Reporting any unusual or hazardous debris found inside containers before proceeding with the inspection.
Adhering to Grindrod Logistics HSSE rules and procedures
Completing a daily production sheet reflecting unit status and handing it over to Administration
Ensuring that all equipment (tablets, ladders, bolt cutters, reference lines, client criteria manuals, tape measures, and data SIM cards) is properly maintained and taken care of
REQUIREMENTS
We invite applications from candidates who meet the following minimum criteria:
Qualification:
Matric with mathematics is preferable
Experience:
2-5 years relevant experience in workshop conditions
IICL advantageous
Required skills:
Willingness to learn
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
