DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:


General Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across transportation, depot, and warehousing services

  • Development and implement strategic sales plans aligned to company growth objectives

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

  • Acts as a key point of contact for high value accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and satisfaction

Market intelligence and Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify growth areas

  • Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market dynamics and customers insights

Proposal and solution Design

  • Collaborate with pricing, operations, and solutions teams to design to design and present bespoke client solutions

  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations and bids tailored to client needs

Sales and Performance Tracking

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales performance in CRM systems


REQUIREMENTS

We invite applications from candidates who meet the following minimum criteria:


Qualification/s:

  • Matric with advanced Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B business development within logistics or supply chain sectors


Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and depot services

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to develop customized solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Self-starter with high levels of initiative and drive

  • Client-centric mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport

  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
