DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Conduct research using analytical tools

• Develop business solutions and compile reports

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, management, and executives

• Build innovative approaches to solve business challenges and communicate findings and methodologies

• Generate meaningful business insights from raw data

• Collaborate with various departments to develop data-driven business strategies

• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Work with management to prioritise business and information needs

• Develop, locate, and define new process improvement opportunities

• Oversee departmental data integration, including the development of data models

• Maintain the data warehouse and analytics environment.

• Write scripts for data integration and analysis

• Manage large and diverse data sets, including structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data

• Develop reports and data visualisations using data from the data warehouse and other sources

• Produce and distribute reports in line with agreed organisational requirements

• Provide relevant reporting to stakeholders within agreed timeframes

• Implement reporting requirements and projects to meet organisational needs

• Monitor reporting deliverables to ensure alignment with business SLA's

• Coordinate and ensure all data reporting projects are properly designed, scoped, and delivered to meet business requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science and Statics

Experience

• Experience in cost analysis

• 5-7 years' relevant experience in logistics
