Grindrod Logistics Embraces Team Spirit at the 2025 ECR Big Walk

There’s something powerful about walking side by side with your colleagues — outside the office, outside the routine, and simply enjoying the shared experience of being part of something bigger. That’s exactly what unfolded when Grindrod Logistics participated in the 2025 ECR Big Walk, with a strong team of 50 staff members proudly representing the GLO family.

The energy on the day was nothing short of electric. With the sun rising over Durban’s iconic beachfront and a sea of bright blue and yellow T-shirts filling the promenade, our team joined thousands of others in a 10km journey that brought with it moments of laughter, connection, and personal triumph.

For many, this was more than just a walk. It was a much-needed opportunity to connect outside of the work environment, reflect, and appreciate the people who power our business daily. From casual chats along the way to shared motivation during the final stretch, it reminded us all why team-building initiatives are not just nice to have — they’re essential.
